Subject: Fire Evacuation Drill for Student Dormitories, Fall Semester, 2025.
Instruction:
I. To enhance dormitory residents’ disaster prevention knowledge and response capabilities, and to familiarize students with evacuation routes and assembly procedures in case of fire, the student dormitories will conduct a fire evacuation drill.
II. Drill Time and Location
i. Time: One evening between September 15 and 19, 2025.
ii. Location: A randomly selected dormitory building on the main campus. The drill will be conducted without prior notice.
III. Reminders for Dormitory Residents
i. Upon hearing the fire alarm broadcast, immediately follow dormitory staff instructions and evacuate through the via the nearest emergency exit. Do not use elevators.
ii. Proceed quickly and orderly to the designated assembly point outside your dormitory. Cooperate with staff during roll call.
iii. Do not return to rooms to retrieve belongings; and avoid pushing or crowding.
iv. Failure to participate as required will be recorded. For dormitory safety, all residents must cooperate fully.
v. Students who participate in the entire drill will be eligible to receive an official leave certificate issued by the Division of Dormitory Guidance.
IV. Assembly Points outside for Each Dormitory
u Dormitory 2 → Basketball Court
u Dormitory 3 and Dormitory 4 → Sports Field
u Mulan Student Dormitory → Tennis Court
V. In the event of a typhoon or heavy rain, the drill will be rescheduled or adjusted. Further notice will be provided.
