Subject: Application of Dormitory Reservation for 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Instruction:

I.       The accommodation period for the 2026/2027 academic year is expected to be from August 29, 2026 to June 20, 2027. The actual duration will follow the announced for the 2026/2027 academic calendar.

II.    According to the regulations of student dormitory management, Overseas Chinese students and international students should apply for bed reservation within the specified time and through the designated method. Any overdue application won’t be accepted.

III. Dormitory Arrangements & Important Notices. Before applying, please carefully read the relevant information below!

           i.   Dormitory Bed Allocation

A. Mulan Student Dormitory will primarily accommodate present students.

B. There are differences between on-campus dormitories and Mulan Student Dormitory in terms of location, living environment, accommodation fees, electricity billing, and electricity quota allocation. Before submitting a bed reservation application, students should first visit the Division of Dormitory Guidance webpage to review the dormitory introduction. Students may then choose to apply for either on-campus dormitories or Mulan Student Dormitory based on their personal preference.

C. Students staying in on-campus dormitories cannot request a transfer to Mulan Student Dormitory, and vice versa.

D.The Division of Dormitory Guidance will allocate dormitory beds based on the number of available spaces and students' preferences. If the number of applicants exceeds the available beds, assignments will be made in ascending order of the lottery number. Students who are not selected will be assigned to the alternative dormitory.

IV. Dormitory Fees: Payment is divided into the 1^st and 2^nd semesters. Please refer to the table below for accommodation fees for each dormitory. Actual charges will be based on the latest announced fee standards.

Note: The air conditioning and general electrical outlets in Mulan Student Dormitory will be billed through a cloud-based electricity meter. The electricity allowance provided by the university is NTD 1,050 per semester.

V.   Application Period: From 9 AM on February 26, 2026, to 4 PM on March 4, 2026.

VI. Visit the “Academic Information System” (website: http://ais.ntou.edu.tw) to submit applications on the application period. The application procedure show on the Division of Dormitory Guidance webpage (https://stu.ntou.edu.tw/p/404-1023-45213.php?Lang=en).

※   Students should carefully review the differences between on-campus dormitory and Mulan Student Dormitory before making their choice.

※   Each student may only submit ONE application. Once submitted, no modifications can be made, so please review your application carefully before submission.

VII.  The following students are not eligible to apply:

                   i.     Fourth-year undergraduate students and above for the 2025/2026 academic year, including second-year master's students or above, and fourth-year PhD students or above.

                ii.     Students registered in Keelung City, students in the in-service master's program, and those who have been required to vacate their accommodation for reasons.

              iii.     Students approved for accommodation in the 2025/2026 academic year who have not paid the fees within the specified time or have given up accommodation without completing the cancellation procedures within the stipulated period.

VIII.  Subletting of beds and impersonation for bed allocation are strictly prohibited.

IX. Students must adhere to the university's Student Dormitory Management Regulations, Student Dormitory Regulations, Student Dormitory Contract, and all related provisions. Violations may result in loss of accommodation privileges.

X.    Further announcements will be made if necessary. Please stay updated with notices from the Dormitory Guidance Division to avoid any impact on your accommodation eligibility.
