Subject: To ensure optimal performance during seasonal changes, please conduct a test of the air conditioning unit in your dormitory. If there are any issues, please report them through the AIS System before March 31, 2026.

Recipient: All residents.

Effective Period: From now until March 31, 2026.

Instruction:

I.        As the seasons transition, we recommend testing the air conditioning in your dormitory. If you encounter any problems, please use the AIS System to report them, and we will arrange for technicians to address the issue on campus.

II.     The testing process is outlined below:

           i.                Check the cleanliness of the air filter. If it's dirty, clean it with water, allow it to dry, and then reinstall it.

         ii.                Start the air conditioning in "fan mode送風" and let it run for 10 minutes before switching to "cooling mode冷氣." Repeat this process 2-3 times.

III.   During the winter, or after prolonged periods of inactivity or high humidity, there may be some odor when the air conditioner is first activated. Running the fan for a while should help circulate the air and alleviate this issue. However, if the room is dirty or contains strong odors from items like air fresheners or perfumes, they may contribute to the odor from the air conditioner. Please address these factors first.

IV.  For any issues such as loud noises or failure to start, please report them through the AIS System within the designated timeframe.
