Subject: Announcement Acceptance testing of network speed in Dormitory Rooms by the Division of Information Security and Network Services

Description: The outsourced dormitory network service provider, Chunghwa Telecom, completed comprehensive network speed testing across all dormitories on August 13, 2026. In accordance with the tender specifications, the Division of Information Security and Network Services, NTOU must acceptance testing of network speed to ensure service quality compliance

Estimated Schedule:

1.     Scheduled Period: August 17 to August 27, 2026

2.     Scheduled Time: Generally between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the designated testing dates.

Testing Scope: Dormitory 2, Dormitory 3, Dormitory 4, and Mulan Student Dormitory.

Important Notices:

·         During the network speed testing period, the Division of Information Security and Network Services will dispatch personnel to various dormitory areas (including rooms) to conduct relevant tests; students are requested to kindly cooperate to facilitate the smooth completion of the process.

·         If you are in your room, please be sure to cooperate. If you are not in your room, relevant dormitory staff will accompany the testing personnel to enter. If you require being present in person, please inform us in advance so alternative arrangements can be made.
