Leave of Absence Notice

Please read the regulations before applying.

Students’ application for: personal leave, sick leave, official leave, maternity leave, bereavement leave, aborigines' annual ritual leave, menstrual leave, and family care leave shall be handled by their department office. For periods of absence within 3 days (including 3 days), please send the application to the department office for approval; for more than 3 days and within 7 days (including 7 days), after having the application verified by the department office, send it to the Division of Life Guidance Director for approval; for more than 7 days, please send the application to the department office first, next to the Division of Life Guidance Director for verification, and lastly send it to the Dean of Student Affairs for approval. After the leave is approved, students should take the initiative to communicate to the class instructors about the time they will be off.

In addition, students who apply for official leave as individuals or in group must comply with the scope of official leave recognition listed in Article 7 of the “Regulations for Students’ Leave” and fill in the student official leave request form. Those who are appointed by the school to handle official duties must first be handled verification by the dispatching unit in charge. Each student official leave request form can only be used by the same department office. If the official leave members belong to different departments, please fill in the student official leave request form separately based on the departments to which they belong.

Registration leave is handled in accordance with our school's "Student Registration and Registration Leave Regulations." Examination leave is handled in accordance with our school's "Student Examination Leave Regulations."
