Amended and approved by the Dormitory Guidance Committee Meeting on December 5, 2024.

全體住宿生除遵守本校學生宿舍管理辦法之外，須履行本公約，並不得觸犯本校學生獎懲規定。

In addition to adhering to the University's Regulations for Student Dormitory Management, all residents must fulfill these Regulations and must not violate the University's student reward and punishment regulations.

一、宿舍環境

(一)為了提升生活品質，如廁時請於正常地點進行；如廁後記得沖水，以讓下一個使用同學能安心使用，也方便清潔人員清潔處理。

(二)飲水機與浴廁洗手臺請勿傾倒泡麵、茶葉等殘渣碎屑。

(三)勿隨意放置私人物品或丟棄垃圾於公共空間(如廁所、浴室、走廊、交誼廳等)場所。

(四)請同學遵守垃圾分類，寢室內垃圾，請自行遵守垃圾不落地規定，配合公告時間攜至指定地點丟棄，以維護環境整潔。

(五)住宿生於退宿時必須將寢室內雜物、垃圾等物品清除，並將門板、窗戶、床組等公物清理乾淨，否則將依住宿法規懲處。

I.        Dormitory Environment

(I)      To enhance living quality, use the restroom in designated areas and flush after use for the next person's comfort and ease of cleaning.

(II)     Do not dispose of noodle remnants, tea leaves, or other debris in drinking fountains and washbasins.

(III)    Avoid placing personal items or littering in common areas such as restrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lounges.

(IV)   Adhere to waste separation and take personal trash from the room to designated areas at announced times to maintain cleanliness.

(V)    Upon check-out, residents must clean their rooms and remove all garbage, and personal items. Failure to do so may result in penalties as per the dormitory regulations.

二、宿舍健康生活

(一)晚上11時起寢室內必須降低電腦、音響、手機、樂器等會發出聲響之設備(建議戴耳機)，避免影響室友與他人之寧靜住宿品質。

(二)海大校區校內宿舍於每日凌晨12時關閉寢室大燈及電視。

(三)晚上12時至凌晨7時使用洗衣間、浴室或高噪音設備須隨手關門，避免影響住宿生睡眠品質，以實際的行動來發揮知識份子的自覺。

II.       Healthy Living in the Dormitory

(I)      Reduce noise from computers, audio devices, phones, and musical instruments after 11 PM (headphones recommended).

(II)     The dormitory on the campus of Keelung Main Campus will turn off the room lights and TVs at midnight every day.

(III)    Use laundry rooms, bathrooms, or loud equipment between midnight and 7 AM quietly, closing doors to avoid disturbing others.

三、宿舍訪客

(一)如有訪客進入，必先徵得在場室友同意，注意開、關門與談話過程的音量。

(二)若於交誼廳晤談，亦須降低音量，簡化談話內容，儘早結束談話時間。

III.      Dormitory Visitors

(I)      Obtain roommate consent for visitors and control door opening/closing and conversation volumes.

(II)     If meeting in lounges, lower the volume and minimize conversation to end discussions early.

四、宿舍生活秩序

(一)禁止占用空床位並使用其空間及設備。

(二)雨具應放置於傘架，其他雨具應至於各宿舍指定空間。

(三)宿舍使用之電源線組(延長線)及多頭插座均需具過載自動斷電保護功能，且禁止串接使用。

IV.      Dormitory Life Order

(I)      Do not occupy or use unassigned beds, spaces, or equipment.

(II)     Place rain gear on umbrella racks; other gear should be stored in designated dormitory areas.

(III)    Use power strips and multi-plug adapters with automatic overload protection; do not employ serial connection.

五、宿舍設施維修

(一)冷氣機之相關設備，宿舍內外公共設施皆為學校財產公物，如有遺失或損壞應依學校規定程序至教學務系統報修，請勿擅自拆裝冷氣空調、公物等硬體設備。

(二)倘因故意或重大過失所致損壞，當事者應負修理或賠償之責任，並依相關辦法懲處。

V.       Dormitory Facility Maintenance

(I)      Air conditioning and other public facilities are University property. Report any malfunctions through the Academic Information System and do not attempt to dismantle or modify equipment.

(II)     Intentional or grossly negligent damages must be repaired or compensated by the responsible parties, with additional penalties as applicable.

六、請同學配合學校各項環保措施，節約用水、用電。

VI.     Conserve water and electricity as part of the University's environmental measures.

八、住宿生須遵守本校學生宿舍管理辦法及住宿契約書中相關規定，未盡事宜另行公告。

VIII.   Residents must adhere to the University's Regulations for Student Dormitory Management and the terms in the accommodation contract. Additional matters will be announced separately.

九、本公約經學生宿舍輔導委員會通過後施行。

IX.     These Regulations will be implemented after approval by the Dormitory Guidance Committee.
