Subject: 2026 Summer Dormitory Application Results and Waitlist Applications.

Instruction:

I.        For the 2026 summer vacation dormitory applications, all students who submitted their application through the AIS System before 4:00 PM on May 26, 2026 will be approved. Students can check the processing status on the AIS System.

II.     If there is any error in the summer dormitory stay period selected during the application period from May 21 to May 26, 2026, please email your department, student ID number, and full name to dorm@email.ntou.edu.tw before 12:00 PM on May 29. We will assist in deleting the original summer dormitory application record. Students are then requested to resubmit their application through the Academic Information System during the summer vacation supplementary application period.

III.   To improve dormitory quality and reduce disruption during the semester, repair work will be done during summer.

                   i.     Dormitory 4 will be closed for major renovation (glass walls and balcony windows).

                ii.     Summer housing will be arranged as:

l  Dormitory 2 → Female students

l  Dormitory 3 → Male students

I.           Important Notes During Summer Stay

Dormitory 2 and 3 will also have minor repairs (e.g., painting, wall repairs). You may experience:

                   i.     Construction noise

                ii.     Paint smell

              iii.     Workers entering rooms if needed

              iv.     Possible room changes

If you are sensitive to noise, smells, or cannot accept room changes, please consider carefully before applying.

II.        Bed Availability

Available beds will be announced on the application day via the Academic Information System. If applications exceed capacity, a lottery system will be used.

III.     Application Period

May 28, 2026 (9:00 AM) – May 29, 2026 (4:00 PM). Late applications will not be accepted.

V.       Accommodation Period & Fees

                   i.     Fees follow official dormitory regulations (announced May 4, 2026).

                ii.     Fees include NT$300 air-conditioning fee.

VI.        Dormitory Bed Assignment Information:

                   i.     Students who completed both the summer housing application and roommate selection form before 4:00 PM on May 26, 2026, will have their roommate preferences arranged as much as possible. However, due to eligibility issues, duplicate requests, or different housing periods, arrangements may not fully match all preferences. Late submissions or incorrect housing period applications will not be accepted.

                 ii.     Students without roommate selections, with invalid roommate information, or applying through the waitlist will be assigned beds by the Student Housing Division based on current availability. Bed and roommate selection is not available.

              iii.     All Summer Vacation / 1st Period of Summer Vacation: Bed assignment results will be available on the Academic Information System by June 22, 2026.

              iv.     2nd Period of Summer Vacation: Bed assignment results will be available on the Academic Affairs System by July 23, 2026.

l  Late payment = give up your dormitory spot

l  Refunds follow dormitory regulations (receipt required)

           vii.     Graduating Students: Must check out according to university rules.

VIII.  Short-Term Stay

                   i.     Priority is given to long-term applicants

                ii.     If beds are available, short-term applications will open from June 12

              iii.     Fee: NT$130 per day (air-conditioning not included)
