Subject: Regarding the Refund of Dormitory Deposits for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Instruction:

I.        Dormitory deposit refunds will be processed in accordance with Dormitory Deposit Management Regulations.

II.     Following deduction of any applicable fees, the remaining balance of the dormitory deposit will be refunded within one month after check-out, without interest. Bank charges will be deducted from the refund. Students are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their refund account information. In case of any errors, students should promptly visit the Division of Dormitory Guidance upon notification by the administrative unit. Failure to process refunds within three months after the start of the semester will result in the deposit being confiscated and transferred to the university’s general fund.

III.   All students who resided during the 2023/2024 academic year must update their financial account information and contact phone numbers in the Academic Information System under "Maintain Student Information" before April 28, 2024. This is necessary for the subsequent processing of deposit refunds.

Postal account financial code: 7000021, with a 14-digit account number.

Bank account financial code should consist of a 3-digit bank code + a 4-digit branch code, totaling 7 digits. If unsure about the bank account financial code, residents can refer to the website of Financial Information Corporation for verification.

IV.  The financial account must be registered under the student’s name. Refunds cannot be issued to accounts not belonging to the student.

V.     Please be aware that errors in the postal or bank account information and telephone numbers recorded in the Academic Information System may prevent the refund of the dormitory deposit or result in additional transfer fees. These fees will be the responsibility of the students. Students are advised to ensure the accuracy of their information in the Academic Information System.
