Regulations for Student Clubs Engaging in On-Campus and Off-Campus Service Activities

Established and promulgated on August 13, 2019, through Hai-Xue-Ke-Nei-Zi No.1080256.

Article 1     These regulations are established to enhance the service attitudes and concepts of student clubs.

Article 2     Please communicate and revise activity or teaching content in advance with the Division of Extracurricular Activities (hereinafter referred to as "the Division") and the cooperating school. Design content in accordance with the service school's regulations, and review relevant service courses the day before the service. Do not incorporate any content or items that do not comply with the standards.

Article 3     During the service period, comply with the relevant regulations of the cooperating school. Report on time, avoid being late or leaving early, and notify the cooperating school and the Division at least three days in advance if unable to attend.

Article 4     During the service period, pay attention to personal attire (avoid wearing sandals, slippers, and sleeveless tops), attitude, and behavior. Ensure they are appropriate and do not exaggerate or deceive, to maintain the university's reputation.

Article 5     Avoid physical contact during activities to prevent any harassment situations, and maintain a passionate and service-oriented attitude.

Article 6     When arranging activities and performances, pay attention to and implement gender equality issues. Do not violate gender equality and avoid including inappropriate content such as crude, provocative, sexually suggestive, or disgusting material.

Article 7     In case of misunderstandings or disputes during the service period, immediately report to the responsible teacher at the school and the Division for timely assistance.

Article 8     Ensure relevant insurance is in place before the activity and continuously pay attention to the safety of oneself and the participating students during the activity.

Article 9     If there is any risk during the activity (such as typhoons, heavy rain, water or power outage, earthquakes, etc.), immediately stop the activity and comply with the school's emergency measures.

Article 10   Preferably use public transportation when going to the service school. If it is necessary to ride a bike or drive to a school with inconvenient transportation, inform the Division for record-keeping. Please follow traffic rules and pay attention to safety.

Article 11   These regulations shall be implemented after approval by the Division of Extracurricular Activities' meeting.

Note:  These regulations are formulated in Chinese. In case of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
