Regulations on Management and Borrowing of Student Activity Center Venue

Article 1 To effectively utilize and maintain the facilities and venues of the Student Activity Center, these regulations are established. For matters not covered by these regulations, other existing rules or methods shall apply.
Article 2 The venues of the Student Activity Center of the University include: activity rooms, club classrooms, martial arts practice rooms, and the atrium; music band practice rooms on the basement floor, dance practice rooms, and individual music practice rooms on the second floor; and the multi-purpose exhibition hall on the third floor (hereinafter referred to as “Center venues”). These venues must be borrowed in accordance with these regulations.
Article 3 The Center venues are limited to borrowing by various teaching units, administrative units, student clubs, school teams, and faculty and staff groups of the University. However, if it does not interfere with school activities, they can be lent to external groups for non-profit activities upon approval through administrative procedures. The borrowing of venues by external groups should not affect the University’s teaching and various activities.
Article 4 The management method and fee schedule for the borrowing of venues by external groups shall be conducted in accordance with the University’s “Regulations on Management and Borrowing of Venue and Facility.”
Article 5 The opening hours for borrowing the Center venues are as follows:
1. Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 11 PM.
2. Saturday and Sunday: 9 AM to 6 PM.
3. Closed on national holidays.
4. Closed during winter and summer vacations, except for special activities that have been separately applied for.
Article 6 To borrow a venue from the Center, an application must be submitted through the Club Activity Information Management System, and the borrowing procedures must be completed five working days before the date of use.
Article 7 If a borrowing unit decides to relinquish the use of a venue, an application for cancellation must be submitted to the Club Activity Information Management System three working days before the event. Borrowing units are not allowed to sublet the venue. Violation of this rule will result in a two-month suspension of borrowing rights from the date of borrowing.
Article 8 The Center venues are available for use according to the registered time. Staying on the premises without approval is not allowed. Violators will lose their borrowing rights and are responsible for restoring the venue to its original condition and maintaining cleanliness after use.
Article 9 The following actions are prohibited when using the Center venues. Violation of these rules will result in a suspension of the borrowing unit’s rights to use the venue for six months to one year:
1. Activities that contravene government policies and legal regulations.
2. Activities that violate public order and morals.
3. Uses that harm the original purpose of the venue and facilities or pose a risk of damage to them.
4. Activities that damage the university’s reputation or are likely to cause disorder.
5. Instances where the borrowing unit sublets the venue to other units.
6. Smoking, drinking, damaging access control, or bringing personal pets in the Center venues.
7. Other circumstances deemed inappropriate for borrowing by the university.
Article 10 If any equipment is lost or damaged during use, the borrowing unit is responsible for compensation.
Article 11 Without the consent of the Center venue management unit, sound systems, projectors, display boards, and other equipment must not be used. If it is necessary to install effect lighting, illumination, or other electrical devices, this must be done in conjunction with the Center venue management unit. Private installations are not allowed.
Article 12 These regulations shall be implemented after approval by the Student Affairs Meeting.
Note: These regulations are formulated in Chinese. In case of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
