Dormiroty Overview
Dormitory 1 is a stand-alone, five-story building nestled within the campus woodlands, and one of the university's oldest dormitories. However, with continuous upgrades like window replacements and air conditioning installations, it remains comfortable and well-equipped for residents. The dormitory provides 380 beds, all arranged in four-person rooms.
1st Floor Kitchen
- Location: Ground floor, right side when facing the main entrance.
- Opening Hours: Weekdays 9:00-19:50 / Weekends 10:00-19:50
- Facilities: Includes a rice cooker, microwave, oven, induction stoves, refrigerator, and sink.
- Usage Rules: Register at the information counter before use, bring personal utensils, clean after use, and inform the information counter for inspection. Dispose of waste properly.
1st Floor Reading Room
- Equipped with a water dispenser, restrooms, sofas, TV, weight scale, computers, and study space.
- Please avoid occupying study desks for extended periods. TV usage is paused during midterm exam week.
Lounges on Each Floor
- Equipped with TV, sofas, and tables. Volume should be kept low after 23:00.
- Bulletin boards are updated periodically with dormitory and school event notices.
Bathrooms on Each Floor
- Each floor has front and rear bathrooms with 24-hour hot and cold water supply.
- A temperature monitor is located near the 2nd-floor stairs. Please limit shower time to save water, especially during peak hours.
Laundry and Pantry Room on Each Floor
- Includes a water dispenser, spin dryer, dryer, and washing machine.
- Cleaning tools are available behind the dryer.
Rooftop Drying Area
- The rooftop on the 6th floor provides an indoor and outdoor drying area for clothes, shoes, and rainwear.
