During office hours If you find yourself in a life threatening or crisis situation, life-threatening circumstances, current or recent traumatic crises, and serious mental illness, include: suicidal or homicidal thoughts or actions, sexual assault, the death of a significant person in the student’s life. You must come to NTOU counseling center anytime during business hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, or call our helpline: (02) 2462-2192 ext.1195. Our counselor would meet with you to do an assessment of the circumstances surrounding your crisis, identify and implement strategies for dealing with the crisis, and make recommendations as to how to proceed. During non-office hours If you are having a crisis or feel that you need to talk to someone during a time when our center is closed, you should call (02) 2462-2192 (1051～1053)and ask to speak to the ntou staff member on-call.
